Newcastle Knights Knock On Effect Cup & Jersey Flegg Cup teams respectively faced off against Wests Magpies and Wests Tigers at Morry Breen Field on Monday 21 March. 

The Novacastrians won both Round 2 matches in their competitions. Members of the Newcastle NRL squad including Club Captain Kalyn Ponga, Daniel Saifiti, Pheonix Crossland, Tex Hoy, Dominic Young and Bradman Best, together with coaching staff, beforehand held a clinic for the Roos Girls Tackle Academy (U13,15 & 17). 

Wyong is blessed to have Knights Group General Manager Performance, Hayden Knowles, heading up its Academy with the girls benefitting from the latest coaching techniques.
